Candidates who fall below Satisfactory Academic Progress will be placed on academic
probation and will have two academic terms (including summer session) to meet standards
of satisfactory academic progress. Failure to achieve the required GPA and/or percentage
of completion will result in suspension following the close of the second probationary term.
General Information
- Candidates will be notified of probationary status by letter from Office of Academic Affairs.
- College of Education will outline a plan for the candidate
- Candidates will be required to attend an academic success session provided by the Student
Relations Coordinator
- After attending the success session the candidate must schedule an individual
advising meeting with his/her faculty advisor and completes the "Removal of Registration Hold"
- Advisor returns the "Removal of Registration Hold" form to the Student Relations Coordinator
- Student Relations Coordinator removes the registration hold
- Following pre-registration the hold will be reinstated.
