There are numerous scholarships available when a student is ready to make the commitment to become an officer in the US Army.

Scholarships:

Are open to incoming students and those already on campus. They are generally for those who have no prior service experience or have been honorably discharged. Check the Guard/Reserve link for more options for prior service students.

Scholarships will cover anywhere from 2 to 4 years of college. This is determined by projected graduation date.

Graduate students are eligible for scholarships as well!

Benefits:
    • 100% Tuition and normal fees
    • $600 per semester for books
    • Monthly stipend - $300 for freshman, $350 for sophomores, $450 for juniors, $500 for seniors
Responsibilities:

Take Military Science classes each semester (all classes are held on the MSU campus)

Attend Leadership Labs once a week (conducted at MSU)

Attend Physical Training three times a week (conducted at MSU and Gustavus)

Attend one Field Training Excercise per semester (various locations)

Commitment:

Dedicated participation while in college

Eight years of service in the Active, National Guard or Reserve component after graduation
