Flight training is provided at the Mankato Regional airport (KMKT) by North Star Aviation (NSA). Here you will experience state of the art "glass" cockpit or EFIS (Electronic Flight Information System) technology and the advanced flight simulation devices. The location is excellent for training new pilots with the Minneapolis/St. Paul area only 50 miles to the north.
A new undergraduate program is under development and will be one of the most advanced in the nation providing new students with the knowledge and training required to succeed in the highly competitive field of aviation, aeronautics, and aerospace for many years to come. A new graduate program in Aerospace and Aeronautical sciences will be soon available for those who want to receive additional educatiopn, training, and experience in aviation sciences and assume positions of leadership and research.
