Integrated NWEA* Rit Analysis

  • Integrates RIT data with demographic data** on a student–by–student basis
  • Integrates RIT data with economic and SpEds data on a student–by–student basis
  • Comparative analysis on a trail/house, grade, school, and/or district level
    • Compares apples to apples; ensures equivalent data sources are compared
      • Performance by gender, ethnicity, grade level, academic subject
      • Performance by economic program status
      • Performance by Special Education program status
      • Includes comparison to national normative data
  • Data–driven, results based assessment
    • Compares performance of same type student groups by many factors (examples):
      • 7th grade males to 7th grade females in math, reading and/or language
      • 8th grade males by special education participation, by academic subject
      • 2nd grade females, in reading, by free/reduced lunch program status
      • 9th grade gender AND ethnicity, by academic subject
      • 4th grade students, in math, between separate schools in the same district
      • Between specific groups and the national normative mean
      • Between specific (equivalent) groups at different schools:
        • Programs, grades, genders by academic subject area
  • Identifies best performance areas, identifies challenge areas
  • Balanced performance data to create practical, meaningful, metrics and start dialogue
  • Includes charts and summary reports – easy access to conclusions/suggestions

Integrated Comparative Analysis of State Wide Assessment Data

  • Integrates demographic data** with a selection of state assessment data including:
    • MCA, MCA–II, BST, MTAS, GRAD, TEAE, MN SOLOM, AMAO, AYP
  • Comparative analysis by grade, school, district, and/or district–to–district level
    • Compares apples to apples; ensures equivalent data sources are compared
    • Includes comparison to state normative average data for each specified group
  • Comparative analysis of a wide variety of specific group factors including:
    • Gender, ethnicity, academic subject, economic program participation
    • Special education program participation, ELL status
    • Yearly data or trended data for any combination of factors
  • Tabular data AND charted data makes dialogue easy for visual learners
  • Identifies best performance areas, identifies challenge areas
  • Balanced performance data to create metrics and jumpstart dialogue
  • Identifies good trends, and trends that may need attention
  • Includes charts and summary reports – easy access to conclusions/suggestions
