The Center for School-University Partnerships (CSUP), housed in the College of Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato, was established in 1988. It acts as a liaison between P-12 institutions and post-secondary programs involved in educator preparation, and focuses on developing and supporting partnerships between the College and schools/communities.

Featured programs/services:

  • Facilitation of the Professional Development School (PDS) model with seven partner school districts (Faribault, LeSueur-Henderson, Mankato, St. Peter, Sibley-East, Owatonna, and Waseca).
    • Teachers-on-Special Assignment /Graduate Teaching Fellowship Program
    • PDS Governance Council
    • PDS Faculty Liaisons
    • PDS Learning Communities
  • Urban Teacher Education Partnership (UTEP) - member of the MnSCU/St. Paul Public School consortium (Linking-Learning Activities).
  • iMovie Festival Convener - Minnesota State University, Mankato host organization in affiliation with the Campus Computer Store/Apple Reseller
  • Professional conference facilitation services in partnership with College of Education departments.
  • Institutes for Continuous Improvement (ICI) facilitation in partnership with College of Education faculty.
