The Linking Learners Across Cultures program has provided leadership and support for a variety of activities and workshops that connect learners of all ages across cultures, geographic and national boundaries, age levels, and occupations. Building culturally diverse experiences into teacher education helps foster greater initiative and interest in exploring multiculturalism, which is especially important as the demographic makeup of the state and nation as a whole continues to change. Since the Center's inception, over 1500 students, in-service teachers, MSU pre-service teachers and faculty have participated in Linking Learners programs and education exchanges. Customize workshops on diversity, cultural awareness and English Language Learners (ELL) are also available by contacting the center.
