As we strive to fully live out the ideals of our third standard, collaboration, representatives of each partner P-12 district / College of Education Department faculty / and content-faculty across the university campus came together in September to recognize and celebrate the joint work and achievements of the partnership as a whole...and vitally important, looked toward the future together! The PDS All-Hands Meeting convened partners for the following purposes: 1.) Review of the 2004-2007 PDS strategic plan, goals, and accomplishments, 2.) Identification of needs of our P-16 students and families (unmet, urgent, and/or long-term), and 3.) Identification of professional learning needs of PDS partner educators as they increase their capacity to effectively serve students and families. These activities will ultimately guide us as we cast the vision for our "partnership" for the next three to five years. As our partnership establishes a clear vision, we will all be empowered to become skillful advocates to achieve what we envision!
