34 Credits Minimum
  • All of the above courses should be planned in consultation with the Advisor. Course modifications require the Advisor's approval.
  • An official Plan of Study must be submitted to the Advisor prior to completion of 20 credits.

  • If a graduate student is considering a career in school administration, coursework from educational administration may be included in the elective credits. Consult with one of the educational leadership professors for guidance in this area. After completing the Master's degree, one may apply for a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, which leads to recommendation for state licensure as an administrator.
  • There is also a Specialist degree in educational leadership for those with a Master's degree who do not wish to pursue an administrative license.
