Must earn grades of C or better unless otherwise specified
- English 1101 (Composition): must earn grade of A or B
- English 1160 (Children's Literature)
- Math 1050 & 1060 (Mathematics Elementary Teachers 1 & 11)
- Education 1101 (Introduction to Education)
- Art 1101 (The Visual Arts)
- Biology 1102, or 1007
- Communications 1101 (Fundamentals of Public Speaking): must earn grade of A or B
- Physics 1150 (Physics for Elementary Education)
- Geography 1125 (Geography of the United States and Canada)
- History 1111, 1112 (Select One)
- Theatre 1151 (Acting 1)
- Health 1106 (Drug Use and Abuse)
- Required specialty courses
*Equivalent courses transferred from other institutions will also be accepted.
