During their last three semesters in the Elementary Education program, students participate in a series of professional seminars aimed at helping them explore and understand the complexities of teaching. Topics addressed include the domains of teaching (planning and preparation, teaching for student learning, enhancing the learning environment, and professionalism), contributing to field experiences, interacting with families of all types. The use of small learning groups fosters discussion of these important issues.
