Minors, Endorsements, and Certificates

An endorsement is a license that is added to a teacher’s existing license. EEC offers a Middle school endorsement in Communication Arts and Literature. We also offer the kindergarten endorsement for teachers who hold a grades 1-6 license. Additionally, we offer the K-12 Reading Teacher licensure endorsement through our Graduate Certificate and MS Reading programs.

Non-degree seeking students:

  • Select "Non-degree seeking student" on application.
  • Transcript and fees are not required with your application.
  • Take up to 12 credits before formal admission is required.
    • After the 12 credits are completed, to continue at Minnesota State University, Mankato a student will need to complete the application for admission.
