Webinar with recipient of KSP Award for Excellence in Social Justice Education

Join Seth Nilsen, recipient of the KSP Award for Excellence in Social Justice Education, for a FREE webinar.  CultureChange for Troubled Times: Students Organizing to Redress Trauma in Education and Law Enforcement.

In this one-hour webinar, Seth will share about his efforts advocating for increased access to mental-health resources for students who are preparing for careers in fields affected by trauma — Education, Nursing, and Law Enforcement. Seth’s efforts include creating CultureChange, a non-profit that has successfully promoted university-level legislation to ensure expanded mental-health resources for students entering these troubled fields. In relating CultureChange’s ongoing work drafting legislation at other universities and seeking expansion of mental-health services for K-8 students and their parents, Seth will reflect on the process of building movement with students for social change.
