All candidates must complete all content and program requirements as listed on their plan of study prior to student teaching. Student teaching demands special sacrifices from the candidates, with student teaching being a full-time obligation. Candidates may need to take a leave of absence from their employment to participate complete student teaching. Candidates receive no compensation for the student teaching and should make allowances for the loss of income.
