After each Praxis exam administration, score reports are sent to MSU. The Professional Ed database is used to determine which students have not passed all subtests on the exams. Those students who fail are required to attend an assistance session bringing their score report with them. During the session students' score reports are reviewed to identify areas of weakness and a Student Assist Plan is developed that includes their participation in small group tutoring sessions conducted by the Center for Academic Success. Students can also be referred for tutoring based on their performance on the writing prompt from the admission process session.
