Project PREP

Project PREP is preparing Early Childhood Special Education teachers to fill a critical need in Minnesota’s schools and improve outcomes for students in the state. The online, evidenced-based program includes individualized advising, mentoring, long-term student placements and real-time video observations—all designed to help teachers make a lasting impact on children with special needs.

Tuition Stipend

Tuition stipends are available for qualified students meeting project requirements and enrolled in Project PREP. Individuals pursuing initial (first time) and add-on ESCE licensure are welcome in Project PREP. For every one year of full-time funding, individuals must teach for two years in Early Intervention/Special Education.

Mentoring

Stay on the cutting edge of evidence based practice with our online resources. Watch our SPED Talks, view common questions and answers, browse our list of online resources, and download our webinars. The webinars can count toward re-licensure for current teachers.
