The Experiential Education graduate program at Minnesota State, Mankato, offers something beyond your traditional graduate education. We prepare professionals for effectively and ethically leading, teaching, and facilitating experiential learning for ALL learners - all ages, all abilities, all cultures, all identities. Whether your interest is outdoor or adventure programming, K12 education, higher education, corporate training, or something else, this program can fulfill your needs.
In theory courses with passionate Experiential Education faculty, you'll engage in active learning, peer-to-peer interactive seminar approaches, small group collaboration, and project-based learning. Your coursework will be complemented with meaningful independent learning opportunities for applying experiential learning principles through direct experiences.
Our graduates serve among the nation's leaders in experiential education as program owners and/or operators, public school and university faculty and staff, and leaders in various non-profit or privately-operated experiential education programs.
