Meet Your Student Senator
Trinitey Bryant Serves as COE Student Senator
Trinitey Bryant serves as the current College of Education student senator. Bryant is a passionate advocate for COE students, offering support to fellow students in areas such as resource identification.
Bryant began her experience as a DEI coordinator, then ascended to the position of student senator. While in this role, she hopes to create more unison between the College of Education and K-12 Secondary Programs departments and help all COE students who may need a voice.
In an interview, Bryant states the most rewarding aspect of becoming student senator was “helping and advocating for people”. She knows how it is to feel too reserved to voice their opinions or have a voice, and her goal is to be the voice that stands up for them.
As Dr. Jean Haar, dean of the College of Education, points out, “Trinitey is a strong advocate for students in the College of Education. During her time as our student senator, she has facilitated several initiatives that ensure students’ voices are heard.”
About Trinitey:
Beyond her role as COE’s student senator, Bryant is a mom to her four-year-old son as well as raising her seven-year-old niece. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with the kids and taking them to new places such as the Mall of America.
Bryant is majoring in Family Consumer Science Education. She chose this major due to its versatility. Bryant loves the concept of teaching people life skills required for day-to-day living.
