The Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) is dedicated to developing racially conscious leaders for K-12 schools, higher education, and non-profit organizations.

The degree is offered via Telepresence Classrooms in both Mankato and Edina locations.


The next Educational Doctorate cohort begins in the fall of 2023.  Applications for the cohort will be accepted between January 2, and April 24, 2023.

Educational Leadership Ed.D.

The degree is designed for educational practitioners who seek an Ed.D. in Educational organizations, or as university/college faculty. The program addresses the need for advanced preparation of educational leaders and will focus on applied research in the field of education.

Typical Plan of Study

The doctorate in educational leadership is delivered using a hybrid cohort model. Courses are sequenced in a plan of study specifically designed to support student learning.
