Application Requirements specific to Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership
- Master’s degree from an accredited university.
- Applicants seeking a MN K-12 principal license must have at least three years of successful experience as a licensed teacher, school counselor, school social worker, or speech language pathologist.
- Applicants seeking a MN K-12 Director of Special Education license must have at least three years of successful experience as a licensed special education teacher, school counselor, school social worker, or speech language pathologist.
- Students who do not meet the teaching license requirement can meet this requirement by completing an additional teaching internship course, EdLd 697 Internship in Teaching.
When prompted to indicate your program of study in the online application process, please select one of the following:
- Educational Leadership Specialist
- $40 application fee
- Immunization form
- Official college transcripts
- Programs that are defined as part-time or online are not eligible for I-20 issuance; therefore, our program is unable to admit international students.
