LTC Brian Schlesier enlisted in the Army Reserve and began his Military Career in 1999. He then commissioned through Army ROTC at the University of New Hampshire in May 2004. He entered the Regular Army as an Aviation Officer and attended the Aviation Officer Basic Course and flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He then served for over 8 years in the Army’s Active Component before entering the Active Guard Reserve Program in 2012.
LTC Schlesier served in Company Grade positions including Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, and Company Commander while assigned to 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment and 10th Combat Aviation Brigade. He has also served in Field Grade positions to include Battalion Operations Officer, Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade Operations Officer, Army Reserve Aviation Force Integrator, Executive Officer to the Office of the Chief of the Army Reserve G-3/5/7, and Aviation Policy Officer. LTC Schlesier has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
LTS Schlesier holds a Master of Business Administration from Northeastern University and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. His military education includes the Aviation Office Basic Course, Aviation Captains Career Course, and Command and General Staff College.
