About the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Program
B.S. Aviation graduates offer an exceptional value to airlines. Training at Minnesota State Mankato is conducted under exacting FAA Part 141 standards using a proprietary syllabus designed to emphasize automation, multiengine and real world operations. Students average 20 hours of training in our FAA certified simulator, experiencing average flight conditions as well as emergency situations. But Aviation students at Minnesota State University, Mankato receive more than training.
Our program incorporates both theory and technical expertise as well as the professional skills that employers are looking for, such as:
- Part 141 flight training, the most desireable training for pilots in the industry.
- FAA licenses and 50 hours experience in our state-of-the-art simulator.
