The Professional School Counseling program at Minnesota State University - Mankato is pleased to announce that we were the only school counseling program in the state of Minnesota to have been awarded the Student Support Pipeline grant through the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE).  Upcoming Virtual Info Session

The intent of this $295,000 award is to help more individuals, particularly People of Color and Indigenous individuals enter the field of professional school counseling. Did you know that less than 10% of Minnesota’s licensed school counselors identify as People of Color or Indigenous – this is a significant representation gap considering that close to 35% of elementary-age students in Minnesota identify as Students of Color.
