A Message from the Dean

The College of Education encompasses Passion – Commitment - Advocacy

Dean HaarWe know the intensity and complexity of preparing professionals who impact lives. We want students who are passionate, committed and ready to serve others. Our students learn in real-time and in real settings whether that is in a school building for our future educators, in a cockpit for our future aviators, in a clinical setting for our future counselors, or in an active duty setting for our future military leaders.

What does passion, commitment, and advocacy look like? Students actively learning in a multitude of environments. Students collaborating with others to promote and advocate for equity and inclusion. Students engaging with faculty, staff, and partners to embrace passion, care, and dedication to their profession.

How do we support students in this experience? With student success at the center, we provide wrap-around services from recruitment to completion and beyond. Students graduate prepared to demonstrate excellence in their profession. Students graduate prepared today for tomorrow’s demands.
